Thank you for your interest in a commissioned piece of art.

Working on commissions brings me great joy, especially when I am given the freedom to create and build off of previous work. I do my best work with the least amount of boundaries, but I do like to understand the context and placement of my work and find it beneficial to communicate all details before beginning each piece. Commissioned pieces typically take more time because they are created in the spirit of collaboration, therefore I am only able to offer a limited number of spots for commissions each year.

Terms

Commissions are priced based on complexity and scale of work. Commission pricing starts at $1300.00 and average $3.00 a square inch. 50% up front is required to secure a spot.  Most artwork is painted on a custom birchwood panel, unless otherwise discussed, with a hand painted 1.5" to 2" edge. Kristle uses high quality pigments, inks, acrylics, and oil based acrylics followed with UV varnishes to create heirloom artwork that will last lifetimes. Framing is available. 

Not all commission requests will be selected, however, if your commission is chosen, we will send you a link to complete a commission agreement and deposit information. I try my best to get the piece right the first time and am very meticulous about including your input. However, there is a 15% increase in price for any revisions requested after starting on a piece. As soon as your painting is completed, we'll send you photos of your piece and confirm shipping information.
